Phyllis Ettinger, M.A., M. Ed.
Phyllis Ettinger, M.A., M. Ed., is the president and CEO of Royal Health Care Services, a Licensed Home Care Agency with offices in Long Island and New York City. Ms. Ettinger was trained as a psychologist and holds an M.A. in Personality and Social Psychology and a M. Ed. in Counseling. She was formerly an adjunct professor of Psychology at the City University of New York and at the Helene Fuld School of Nursing. In 1989, Ms. Ettinger founded Royal Health Care Services, where she has created a community-based agency geared to meet the individual needs of each client. In addition, she has designed a specialized dementia program dedicated to training personnel to care for Alzheimer's patients and their families.
Ms. Ettinger has been a member of the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation (LIAF) Advisory Board for more than 20 years and was Chairperson for 5 years. She is currently a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, the Senior Umbrella Network of Queens and Nassau County and was formally a Board Member of the Professional Rehabilitation Association.
